Medical and Living Expenses for Josh Crosby
Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
We are reaching out to you on behalf of our dear friend Josh Crosby, who was recently involved in a life-altering bicycle accident. After being hospitalized for a few days and receiving treatment for bleeding in his brain, Josh was released from treatment. However, a few days later, Josh suffered a series of seizures and was rushed to the emergency room. Subsequent scans showed that the brain bleed had gotten worse, and he had to undergo emergency surgery to remove a piece of his skull to relieve pressure on his brain.
Although Josh is making progress in his recovery, he remains sedated and under intensive care at Queen's Hospital. He has suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury and will have to relearn basic life functions as part of his recovery. As a first mate on snorkel and tour boats in Waikiki, Josh will likely need many months before he can return to work. During this time, he and his girlfriend Paige will face difficulties covering their bills, and with uncovered medical expenses and copays at the end of his treatment, the financial burden they face is daunting.
We are hoping to raise funds to help Josh pay for his medical expenses, rent, and living expenses while he is unable to work. Additionally, if there are enough funds available, we would like to help cover emergency travel expenses for Josh's parents, who traveled to Oahu from Okalahoms to be with Josh and Paige during this trying time.
We know that this is a difficult time for everyone, but we also know that Josh is an integral part of our community and would do anything to help anyone in need. He has always been the first to lend a helping hand, and now it is our turn to return the favor. Any donation, big or small, will help Josh and Paige pay their bills, ease their stress and give them a bit of relief during this tough time.
Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and support.
With love and gratitude,
Paige and Josh
