My name is Betty Tingley, I am 59 years old and this is my story. Brain tumor removed 2011; 3 back surgeries between 2015 and 2016; broken hip January 2017. Hubby has been unemployed for over 3 years and has been looking ever since. Unemployment compensation ended quite a while ago.
As a result of my fall and subsequent broken hip, the house needs to become more handicapped accessible.
In recent months, things have gone from bad to worse. First the furnace is in need of some serious repairs; water heater needs maintenance; refrigerator is getting ready to crap out just to name a few things. For me, everyday chores are debilitating. Sweeping floors is absolutely out of the question as it aggravates all my back muscles. This is just not like me.
I am asking for any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
