Medical and Recovery Costs for Anthony Martin
Donation protected
We are raising money for medical costs and to keep Anthony in a hospital close to his family. We hope to raise as much as will be needed for this, that amount is not currently known and we plan to update as needed.
From Anthony's family:
Anthony Martin, 22 years old, grew up in Sacramento. He attended a local highschool where he met his wife Sarina. Together they have an almost 3 year old son Anthony Jr. He is an amazing father and partner.

Anthony is a hard working, young family man providing for his family. Until Thursday, May 14th on his way home from work, Anthony was hit by a reckless driver traveling at 100+mph causing a tragic accident. The hit-run driver jumped into another vehicle and fled the scene.

Anthony lies in the ICU in critical condition. The crash left him with a multiple head injuries including a damaged brain stem, a serious spinal cord injury, six fractured ribs, and both lungs punctured along with a few other injuries. He has undergone several life threatening procedures and surgeries and major complications along the way.
Doctors don't know how much mobility he may ever regain. As of now Anthony lays in his hospital bed with no ability to talk, walk, breath, eat or move on his own. The only way to communicate with him currently is by blinking his eyes for YES or NO along with assistance from communication charts to spell out words.
He had been blessed with the opportunity to work for Elite Automatic Fire Protection which he loves and found great pride in. He was so excited for growth in the company and loves his co-workers dearly. His company has been so gracious and supportive during these difficult times. Due to him no longer being able to work his medical insurance will soon lapse and he will have to fund private medical insurance to continue the treatment he needs. The funds will also help cover any non-covered medical expenses.
He has a long road of recovery ahead but God has been by his side every step of the way. Anthony is a strong man and will continue to fight to be by his son and his wife's side.
We thank everyone for their continued support, love, and prayer during these devastating times.
Anthony works for a contractor member of AFSA national, and local SVC AFSA, he is a registered CAFSA apprentice, all funds will go directly to him and his family.
