Medical and travel expenses for the Hutson Family

Hi. My dear friend and educator has had her world turned upside down. I want you to imagine that as recently as Labor Day, you were watching your fifth grader, the eldest of 3 children, run and jump at a summer celebration. Within days, your child will have been rushed to the ER. Poked and prodded. Sent home numerous times to be told it was nothing serious. Then. Then you say screw it. I’m taking her somewhere else. And it’s at this other institution that you hear the news that your child has a rare genetic disease. Something that causes AVMs in her lungs and requires 24/7 oxygen and the possibility of a lung transplant. You have to leave work. You’re traveling. You’re fighting insurance companies. And you have two other elementary-aged babies. I CANNOT imagine. All funds will be sent to Amanda and her precious family. And they will be used to fight for Collyns and her ability to speak the miracle of her healing. We’ve got this. TOGETHER, we’ve got this.
