Medical and Travel Expenses for Tom Barton

My brother Tom Barton who is only 38, was hospitalized last week after becoming increasingly ill over the Thanksgiving Holiday. After some testing he was diagnosed with End Stage Liver Disease. His kidneys aren’t functioning and he is very weak and confused. He is currently hospitalized in Wilmington, NC but we want to have him transferred to Duke. We are looking for hope and we aren’t getting that with his current medical team. Anything you can give will help. The hospital transfer will cost $3000 out of pocket so let’s start there. He has a wife and a 15 year old daughter who will need to travel to be close to him. Thank you so much.
