Medical Assistance for the Maxeys

My mom and dad were both diagnosed with COVID and COVID lung at the beginning of December. Both were admitted through the ER to the hospital.
Mom got better a lot quicker than Dad and was able to come home.
Dad was discharged immediately, but was admitted again through the ER the next day. He was diagnosed with a secondary bacterial infection in one lung, and issues with his heart. He was getting a little better, but was not fully there. He was discharged too early, and had to return to the hospital ER a few days later due to ongoing tachycardia (that he was discharged with the last time), and rising blood pressure. After running minimal tests, the hospital determined he also was having some issues with his liver and his bacterial infection in his lungs had returned. They were very dismissive, and discharged him the next day against his will.
The next day, he was unable to maintain his oxygen and was brought to a different ER where he was immediately triaged, and was later admitted as critical.
He will not be able to work for a long time, and my mom is unable to work as well due to being immunocompromised. Both of them need to focus on their healing, while continuing to care for their 4 daughters who still live at home.
The funds raised here will help to cover their medical bills from their 5 ER visits, as well as their hospital stays (3 weeks for my mom and 1 month for my dad, and still counting), and care. The funds will also be used to assist in Dad's ongoing PT, oxygen maintenance supplies, and home health care.
Thank you for donating to assist them! We are so appreciative! Please also continue to pray that God would work a miracle in his body, and heal him. And mom's body would also continue to heal, even as she's dealing with immense amounts of stress due to my dad's health.
We will not be updating here much, as all updates are posted to my (Ceanne's) Facebook, or my Mom's (Laura).
