Medical Benefit for Mark

Hi my name is Monica and I am starting this GoFundMe page for my little brother Mark. On June 21, 2023 his whole life changed with the news that his kidneys were failing. Mark was in the ICU for 3 days where he was told he needed to start dialysis ASAP. Mark was sent home and started dialysis right away. More bad news...the dialysis was not working. He was told he needed a kidney transplant right away. This news was overwhelming and stressful for him and his family. Due to dialysis Mark was becoming weak and sick and had to start home dialysis. The stress of finding a donor took a toll but by the Grace of God a miracle happened....After going through extensive testing Mark's brother n law Billy Jones was a perfect match and decided with his whole heart to give my brother the gift of life. On December 12, 2023 my little brother had a live donor. Mark is the most kindest, most humble man I know and would stop everything to help someone in need..whether it's family, friends, or even a stranger. Mark and Billy will be going into surgery for his kidney transplant on February 14, 2024 in San Antonio at Methodist Hospital. Due to this surgery my brother and sister n law will be out of work for recovery time for him and my sister n law Sarah will be his caregiver. He will have to travel to San Antonio for doctors appointments for monitoring of his new kidney. We pray that his body will not reject this kidney. We are asking for donations to sustain them during this process. Any amount of donations and prayers will be greatly appreciated.
