Medical bill support for Lynette and Kevin

Donation protected
The last year has been incredibly challenging for my sister's family. After months of trying for a baby and enduring two miscarriages my sis finally got pregnant and was cautiously optimistic as the new baby in her belly grew. Each week was a milestone and the further along she got the more comfortable and excited the entire family became eager to finally welcome another new baby into the family.
Lynette found out she had placenta previa which is not terribly uncommon and she would be monitored throughout her pregnancy.
Last Sunday night (8/4) she went into the ER with some irregular bleeding. She was admitted and monitored and scheduled for an ultrasound. After waiting all day the ultrasound revealed placenta previa was no longer a concern but they discovered she may be a risk for vasa previa, a condition in which fetal blood vessels cross or run near the internal opening of the uterus. These vessels are at risk of rupture when the supporting membranes rupture, as they are unsupported by the umbilical cord or placental tissue.
She was sent to a specialist in the cities who immediately sent her to the U of M to be on 24/7 watch and bedrest. She was told if something were to rupture and she wasn't in the hospital by the time she got to a dr it would be too late...very scary but glad she was now going to be in the right place.

After getting settled in on Monday night preparing to have a two week stay Lynette's placenta ruptured at 230am and her baby, Thoren Joseph Willams, arrived via emergency c section at 3:11am at 32 weeks gestation.
After still being at risk for hemorrhaging Lynette was monitored for a few days and released but little Thoren will have a long stay at the U for at least 4-6 more weeks.

Lynette will be in the cities with Thoren while Kevin and supporting family hold down the fort in Mankato.

We have such an amazing support system but as you can imagine having two miscarriages, many many ultrasounds and now the care for little Thor in the NICU the costs are overwhelming during a time when they need to be focussing on Lynette getting stronger and being with Thoren.
