Medical Bills and Rehabilitation for Jamie Latimer
Donation protected
Hi all,
Jamie is loved by so many in the community and I have had several people ask of ways they can help. My father has been a struggling alcoholic for over 10 + years now. His beloved son, Jarrod, passed away in 2008 and I’ve seen my father try and numb the pain of intense grief every since. On top of that his only grandson died in September and grief has rocked his world all over again. If you’re close to him you may not have ever known the battle he has been facing all this time. Over the years I’ve seen first hand what addiction can strip away from a person. It’s literally taken everything from my dad. His family, possessions, and now his health. I’ve seen my dad go from a 280 lb burly man to now less than half of that with no muscle tone and extremely lethargic and weak. On Friday, June 12th, my dad fell and hit his head and suffered a brain bleed. He was flown by helicopter to St. Anthony in OKC where he remains today. We are working diligently to try and find placement for him at a PT rehabilitation and/or addiction treatment. As you can imagine with little/no health care the bills are adding up and we are finding it very hard to find a facility that will take him. Thank you for supporting and loving my dad and continue to pray that doors will open up for him soon. ❤️
