Medical bills due to ovarian cancer

Hi! I am Debbie Gallo who is a co owner of Shangri-La Vintage. My partner Jim and I have been in business since 1992. You may recognize our viral sloth photo. The past few years have been a challenge. Jim lost his eyesight in 2019 and was unable to work. I took over full time running the shop by myself. I was able to survive the pandemic and I busted my ass to get the business in shape. The past two years I really hustled. Unfortunately, this summer I got bad news. I have ovarian cancer. At the beginning of August I had a pretty major surgery and they say the recovery could be at least 6 weeks. Luckily they caught the cancer early but I still will need to go through chemotherapy. I have insurance but it has a pretty high deductible and out of pocket cap. My bank account is rapidly dwindling having to pay for my all my medical bills. I really didn’t want to do this but I’m afraid I won’t be able to cover my September expenses for the shop and home. I hope to get back to work soon and I promise to keep bringing awesome vintage your way. Thank you for all your past and present support.
