Medical Bills, etc. For Leighton

My name is Shelley Minus, and I am fundraising for Leighton Adams. Our family has had the pleasure of knowing LC2 since Kinder when he and Cade were in the same class. A friendship was instantly born, Cade with Leighton and his family with ours, and we have been volunteering, praying and in every gym and on every field with one another, it seems like ever since.

Thursday, Nov 10th is a day we all shed tears, prayed, and hugged our loved ones a little tighter. That was the night Leighton was in a tragic accident, the night before his first playoff football game 2022, where he was set to be the starting QB, just as he had been all season long. This accident has left him in the hospital, fighting for his life with multiple injuries sustained from a 20-30ft fall and electrocution. LC2, as some call him, is currently in the Hospital with burns on both arms and hands, fractured vertebrae L2 and L3, and a damaged ankle with an exposed wound which he had successful surgery on this morning. Initial CT scans are very optimistic concerning the heart, brain and lungs - Praise the Lord! In true Leighton fashion, he has moved so many mountains in these first hours/days, but with these types of injuries, we can only imagine the mountains Leighton will still have to move over the next days, weeks, months, and maybe years!

Please help Love on LC2 and the Adams Family while they take time away from work and family to give Leighton all the love and care he needs to keep progressing. As for now, he will remain in the hospital for an unforeseen amount of time. Donations will help with medical bills, time away from work, meals, future doctor visits, continued wound care, therapy and the list goes on and on and on.
