Donation protected
Lu had a sudden cardiac arrest Tuesday, February 6th, 2024 while at work. Lu is an employee of the Indian River County Sheriff's office for the last 39 years as a 911/Dispatcher Supervisor. She was in the right place at the right time and because of amazing first responders that were there, Lu is alive today.
Lu was admitted to ICU and after extensive test she had a pacemaker/defibrillator implanted. She has 8 broken ribs (from the CPR) which will take 3 months plus to heal, and she may need cardiac rehab.
Lu is a single mom with 2 boys, 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. She has given 40 years of her life as a Public Safety Dispatcher to always being there for the citizens of Indian River County, answering the call 24/7, and now she needs our help - please contribute if you can.
Thank you!
