Medical bills for Angela’s Recovery

Hi my name is Roxy, Raphael Cervantes is my brother. On May 31st, my sister-in-law Angela fell and hit her head in a tragic accident. She required immediate emergency brain surgery. She arrived at the hospital in a level 9 coma. The surgery was successful but removing a large portion of her skull was necessary to allow the brain to heal. The surgery to save her life was so hard and the surgery to put the skull back 3 months later came with its own risks of possible infection and her body rejecting her skull. The doctors said it would take over a year for Angela to regain her ability to walk and talk. Her recovery over the past 3 months has been a miracle.

Thanks to God we are past that stage, but she needs extra speech and physical therapy as insurance only pays to a certain point and she is at a 4th grade reading level so she needs additional speech therapy.

Raph, Angela, and their 17 year-old daughter Kallie have always been focused on getting through this crazy, scary season before they could think of anything else. In addition to the medical bills, the family has faced tremendous financial loss and hardship due to the caregiving needs for Angela at home.

Any monetary donation would be greatly appreciated to pay for the surmounting medical bills and to assist with her need for additional therapy.
