Cancer Care Medical Bills

Hello, My name is Michelle, and I am a single mom of two amazing teenagers, N(15) and R (16). R is a freshman and N is in his last year of middle school. I am so proud of the dedicated, compassionate young men they are. This picture was taken a couple of years ago before I started treatment.

November 2022 marked 3yrs. I have been diagnosed with cancer. Chemo, surgeries, and failed BCG treatments have left me tired. I was able to start Keytruda in August 2022 for stage 3 aggressive bladder cancer. I was told in July 2022, the cancer has metastasized to lymph nodes and various other tumors have been found in many other areas. I just got my 3rd PET scan done in April 2023 and there is an improvement as some of the tumors have disappeared in my neck, lungs, and lymph node chains! I was crying for joy. There is still a long road of more chemo, immunotherapy, and alternative medicine support. I am praying to be cancer free! That is the goal!

My outstanding medical bills are over the $8,000 mark (after insurance). I have other debt, which equals another $7,000. I would be overwhelmed with joy if I could get these paid off. The financial burden has been heavy. I know more medical bills will come in the future. Insurance covers 80%; I have put the remaining portion (as much as I can) on a payment plan.

April 2023: I just started alternative supportive supplements, and vitamin C drips and need to make a trip to NH to see my naturopathic oncologist/Lyme Dr. (Yes, I was Lyme positive too) in August of 2023 which is an expensive week of treatment and consultation not to mention hotel and food bill for me. My current vitamin supplement plan costs $980.00 a month. Over the next 12 months, it will cost a lot of money.

What is most important, I would ask that you pray for us daily, if you will.
