Medical Bills and Expenses for Charlie Anaya

Hi, my name is Donna, and I am fundraising for The Anaya Family's medical bills and expenses. The family received the most unexpected & unimaginable news that their sweet nine year old daughter Charlie was diagnosed with a rare malignant tumor last Saturday, November 12th.

This past week, sweet, beautiful Charlie underwent surgery to drain fluid, remove her breathing tube and put in a feeding tube so they could start feeding her. As recently as yesterday, they began to do some physical therapy, and she has slowly been responsive to the PT and has given a thumbs up & down at times.

After meeting with the oncologist, Charlie's type of cancer is very aggressive, and she will be undergoing chemotherapy as early as this coming Monday. She has a fantastic team of doctors & nurses at CHOC that are solely dedicated to helping her fight this battle with cancer.

Rey & Leti were advised that Charlie will be in the hospital anywhere from a few weeks to possibly two months, depending on how her body reacts to the chemotherapy she is being treated with. Her treatment plan will consist of chemotherapy and radiation followed by surgery if the tumor still exists.

We humbly ask for your prayers, love, and generosity for the Anaya Family to help with medical bills and expenses for Charlie to get the treatment she needs.

Because this is an extremely overwhelming and challenging time for the family, they have asked that we use this platform to keep everyone updated instead of being inundated by text and phone messages at this time.
