Medical Bills for Erica Hardman

I am starting this for my friends Erica and Sheena Hardman.

Erica underwent a routine abdominal surgery three days ago and was recovering at home. Erica took a turn for the worst, and luckily her wife Sheena is a Firefighter/Paramedic and noticed the signs that something was wrong. She called the ambulance, and Erica was transferred to the hospital, only to find out she was bleeding internally. Erica was given a mass transfusion of 9 units of blood along with much more life-saving medications and other blood products. Erica was rushed into yet another surgery to repair the bleeding. Erica has been in the ICU for two days and was just transferred to the medical floor. Erica then had a major nose bleed which required cauterization to stop it; Erica will have a long recovery ahead of her. Erica is a traveling ER nurse, and unfortunately due to that, Erica and Sheena do not have health insurance. The hospital has already been telling them that the cost of this stay will be at least $100,000, and with a one-year-old baby, older daughters, and holidays around the corner, this will cause a significant strain on them.
