Medical Bills for local First Responsder

I’m James Bennefield. I’m an EMT in Newnan Ga. I don’t make much money, but I love what I do because I get to help people. My one professional goal in life is to become a Firefighter. Other than that, I just want to be a good example to my 3 boys.
On Dec 24th, I picked up an extra shift and headed toward work like any other day. A few miles from the station, my acceleration locked and my speed began to climb exponentially. I panicked, but I tried everything I knew to bring myself to a stop. Nothing worked.
I called 911 and begged for help, but I could barely hear the dispatcher over the sound of the V8.
Being a holiday, traffic was light, but I knew I was approaching a busier area with some tight turns. I knew if I was going to die, I didn’t want to kill anyone else.
At the time I left the road I was going over 120mph. According to everyone else, I rolled several times crushing the passenger side of the vehicle before coming to a stop.
After being flown to the best trauma center in the state, I was eventually discharged not much worse for the wear.
grateful to all the people that took part in saving my life, but now I’m looking at two enormous medical bills with no way to pay them.
I don’t have any health insurance and I don’t make much in my line of work.
If anyone can help in any way, I and my family would be incredibly grateful.
