Quincy Booth Hospitalized after Hit and Run
Donation protected
Quincy was seriously injured in a hit and run last night (6/6).
While Quincy was on his way home, an unidentified vehicle ran a stop sign at the intersection of 20th and Poplar St. (in Philadelphia) and struck him at speed. The vehicle stopped for a moment but then drove off without checking on Quincy or calling 911. Thankfully, two women (one a nurse), saw the incident and provided emergency aid to Quincy. In and out of consciousness, he was taken by ambulance to Temple University Hospital where he will be hospitalized for the foreseeable future.
As of now, it has been confirmed that Quincy suffered at least 5 broken ribs, a partially collapsed lung, and a broken pelvis. He is in constant pain but is even more concerned about the costs of medical treatment. Sadly, he was recently laid off because of COVID-19 and has no medical insurance to cover his treatment, which we anticipate will be significant.
For those of you who may not know, Quincy is a personal injury attorney and has dedicated his career to helping those who have been injured by others. Now he needs our help because someone has injured him but won't be held accountable because they fled the scene. Please consider contributing towards Quincy's recovery.
