Support for the Boswell Family

Donation protected
Update 12/6/24:
Thank you so much to everyone for their generous support over the last two years! The majority of the total shown has helped to enable Stephen to take part in the experimental treatments he needed. This number is a running total of donations received overall and not broken up by time.

At this moment, Beth and the family only have access to the newer donations that were not needed for treatments. Your continued donations will help the family with funeral expenses, treatments not yet paid for, and current living expenses. Your continued support is very much needed and appreciated. Thank you again!!

Original post:
Those who know the Boswell family love them! They’re the kind of people that try to encourage you to laugh even when things seem bleak and, if they can’t get you to laugh, they’ll be right there beside you to comfort you while you cry.

They continue to try to keep a positive outlook…but they could also use some extra help right now. In September 2021, Stephen was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. After trying multiple procedures and tests, they decided to go forward with an experimental surgery which, if successful, should help reduce if not eradicate the cancer. In September 2022, Stephen had, what appeared to be, an extremely successful surgery. After the surgery, hopes were high. Scans were clear and it seemed as if things were on the path to remission.

Until last Friday’s scan…. The cancer was back and, once again, decisions are left in their hands. Their next hope is taking place in a medical trial at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. They will be traveling on April the 3rd to talk to doctors and discuss the next steps in this process. With medical bills already being through the roof, things like travel to and from Jacksonville, food, and continuing in this process seem very daunting and impossible.

Please consider donating to help in these next steps. Even if you can only give a little, that still makes a big difference! We are hopeful and optimistic that things can still turn around but it’s going to be a long road not just medically but emotionally, physically, financially, etc. If you are unable to donate financially, please still continue to join us in praying and please share this with your friends and family. Thank you so much in advance for all you can do to help!
