Medical bills of Carol

Carol (currently residing in UAE) is a loving mother, a genius director, and a thoughtful daughter who suffers from a rare disease called OPLL (Ossification of the Posterior Longitudinal Ligament.). An unwanted bone growth from the spine causing compressions to her spinal cord.

Last May 8, 2023, she underwent a procedure of Laminectomy with level 4 spinal decompression. 36 hrs post surgery there was a severe complication of spinal cord swelling that took control of her breathing centers and her arms and legs, which resulted for her to be intubated. June 3, 2023, she underwent on a revision surgery to once again decompress her spinal cord and try to alleviate and regain her breathing and motor movements.

Up to this date, February 2024 she is still on a ventilator and currently on the recovery stage.

As of writing, the bill currently stands at 1.4 million dirhams and still running everyday ($381,164.68)

We are in dire need of financial assistance. She isn’t fortunate enough to have medical insurance because of her pre existing condition. Funds gathered will be used to pay for her running bills so she can proceed with therapy until she fully recovers.

She has a 29 year old son who is taking good care of her and is with her on this fight. Any donation is considered as a great donation and it will surely help her recover and live her life back.
