Medical Bills & Support for Betty Yuan-Cardinal

In late October, our brother Doug's wife, Betty, was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. As you might imagine, their world is upside down, and there are so many extra expenses and issues to deal with. They have a 7-year-old son Jasper who is in first grade. They live in Snoqualmie, WA, near Seattle, and Betty has started chemotherapy treatments. Luckily they caught the cancer early at stage 1B, which means that it was only found in the pancreas and had not spread. Betty has started chemotherapy and will need a total of 6 rounds to hopefully shrink the tumor and if successful, will have major surgery to remove the cancer, followed by another six rounds of treatment.

As you can imagine, they will have many extra expenses, including medical bills, afterschool care for Jasper, meal delivery, etc. We are starting this page to support them and give them some financial help as they battle this disease. Donated funds will go directly to the family, who will apply them to these extra costs. If you are able, please consider a donation of any amount, along with your love and prayers.
