Medical care for Boo
Donation protected
Yesterday, my fiancee and I were in Illinois taking care of wedding appointments with his mom. Once we were done with that we were hanging out at his grandma's house with grandma, sister, neice, and sister's s/o. Kurt was getting ready to show grandma our Ring camera and how it works I was outside getting some air and just came back in. Kurt was yelling that Boo was dead and I saw it on the camera and lost my damn mind. Kurt ran out of the door to go back home to get him down from being stuck on the shelf he was stuck on. I called out for Boo on the live feed and Boo moved! I felt relieved amd terrified at the same time. Went back on the camera to the morning and it happened at 6:06am. He was up on the shelf where he knew he was not supposed to be, his foot fell through the metal shelf, he tried to jump amd it was basically like a playground swing effect, his leg broke. Kurt got home and had a neighbor help him get Boo down. Kurt rushed Boo to IndyVet. They did x-rays and his leg is completely broken, the vet said he needs to have it amputated. I called our normal vet, Wabash Valley Animal Hospital this morning. They said it will cost between $2000 and $2500 to just to amputate. Boo can't feel his foot and I believe if he can't feel his foot that just splinting it and casting it won't be feasible for Boo. We don't know what to do. We don't have that kind of money and CareCredit will be 27% interest after 6 months, we can the CareCredit I'm just scared we won't be able to pay it and keep Boo alive and healthy.
