Medical Care for Caden

As many of you know, our friend Casey’s son, Caden, has been diagnosed with an extremely rare brain disease called Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD). ALD is a terminal disease which causes loss of hearing, vision and motor skills. Recently Caden has become wheelchair dependent and due to seizures, his condition is progressing. This disease can lead to death at a very early age and constant monitoring is required. Caden is being treated by ALD specialists at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital. In addition to the time Casey takes off of work for care and appointments, travel expenses, medical expenses and the need to relocate to a residence that is wheelchair accessible, her family and friends are seeking donations to assist with his care.
