Medical Care for Topock Bob

Hi my name is Kim and I am starting a go fund me for Topock Bob a wild donkey who was recently rescued.

Hi Everyone,

Please welcome “Bob” to donkey day care at Beth’s Burro Barn!!!♥️♥️♥️

Bob was released to our care today after being monitored by the Bureau of Land Management for the past several months. After a multitude of injuries and his poor health, he has been released to live his best life as a domestic donkey.♥️

Upon arrival, Bob has been introduced to his private stall, given yummy food and has been started on anti-inflammatory and pain meds. He has also been given dewormer and his wounds are being cleaned.

Friday morning, Bob will make a trek to our vet, Desert Pines Equine in Las Vegas, NV. He will be completely checked over, given vaccines, gelded (neutered), teeth floated (filed smooth), and x-rays of his swollen legs. He has a multitude of injuries but none appear to be debilitating or life threatening

If anyone would like to contribute toward Bob’s care we would deeply appreciate it. We expect the bill to be quite costly, however, this is necessary to ensure Bob gets the best care and treatment to live his best life!!! Donkeys can live up to 50 years old, so he will need ongoing care over the years.

Bob will be welcoming visitors after he’s completed a 2-week quarantine at Beth’s Burro Barn in Fort Mohave Arizona. We know how near and dear he is to many residents in Topock, AZ and we welcome your continued love and adoration♥️
