Medical cost due to luekima

Hi, my name is Samantha I am fundraising for my best friend Krystal Wanous's son Brady. He just turn 13 Jan. 26 this year. He is so full of energy and always has a smile on his face. There is never a dull moment with him around. He is in 7th grade from the DC area. Around 1:00 am Friday, Feb. 9 Brady was rushed to the ER. He was complaining about being unable to breathe and his fever wouldn't break. Sounds like a typical illness. However, when the lab work came back they found that Brady has pneumonia and leukemia. He was transported to Children's hospital. It was confirmed he has aml, acute myelogenous leukemia which is a very aggressive form.

As of Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024 Brady had his first treatment of chemo last night and he will get 3 more in the next 6 days. Children's Hospital has told the family to plan on a 5 month stay if all goes well.

Some background on Brady and family. His mother had a brain tumor when he was young. The outcome was not what was expected. However, his mother fought hard and didn't give up to get back to him. She is a single mother that is blessed to have her parents help with raising him. Brady's aunt and uncle also play a huge part in his life. Now having Brady's mom recovered from having a brain tumor removed (which the family did on their own with no outside help). They now are on another roller-coaster with Brady having luekima.

Let's give this family some relief by lifting just a little weight off their shoulders. If you are unable to donate please share and spread the word.
