Medical Costs for Dawson Miller

Donation protected
Recovery is a process. It takes time. It takes patience. It takes everything you've got.

On August 14, 2022, while helping pull an abandoned truck out the woods with another truck and straps, the ball of the truck being pulled out snapped. Having flung around 4 other individuals, Dawson's shin was unfortunately where the 2 inch ball decided to land, shattering his tibia.

Dawson was rushed to the local ER, where he was then transported to Memorial Hermann Downtown. The following morning he underwent his 1st surgery; the doctors were able to correct and clean out his shin and set it in an external frame allowing the swelling to lessen until the following surgery two days later. The plan for the second surgery involves removing the external frame and inserting a rod in hopes of closing the injury. There is also talk of a skin graft being needed. Doctors are predicting a recovery time of 6-9 months.

Anyone who knows Dawson, knows he's a great guy who wouldn't hesitate to help anyone and everyone, so let's return the favor. With his job insurance not having started yet,
we set up this fundraiser to help alleviate some of his medical bills. If you are able, please donate what you can to help take some of the burdens off during this unfortunate time. And please continue to send Dawson as many prayers and good vibes as possible.
