Medical costs for dog found shot in Derby, CT!

Tax deductible
This is an official fundraiser established on behalf of the staff of The Shelton Animal Shelter!
Animal Control Officers are:
Leon Sylvester, Michelle DeAngelo & Lisa Dickal

From the Derby Police Department:

This is a picture of the German Shepherd. As you can see he is in stable condition. He sustained at least 2 gun shot wounds despite multiple shell casings located at the scene. One bullet shattered his front leg and another is still embedded in his shoulder. Unfortunately he is not chipped and we are still looking for his owner(s).

He needs surgery on his leg and to remove the bullet but the costs are expected to be significant.

Police officers are vigorously pursuing this case. Anyone with information on either the dog's owner(s) or with information on the last night's incident are asked to contact the Derby Police Department.

Your donation will help us provide him with the best medical care & aftercare treatment. Any additional money received will be in trust with the Friends of the Shelton Animal Shelter, Inc. to be used for homeless animals in our community.
