Medical costs for the Gager Family

Update as of 7/11/23:

Robert was admitted to the hospital several days ago after experiencing a medical emergency. He was placed on life support but has since been removed and placed on palliative care. Please continue to pray and share as the family will experience further expenses. Please help take some burden off of their situation. My friend Robert Gager was recently diagnosed with brain cancer and I am fundraising to offset any medical costs his family may occur. Robert was found to have a brain tumor after visiting the ER on 5/13/23 for a headache. On 5/18 Robert had 99% of his tumor removed. Following his surgery, Robert was told he has Grade 4 Glioblastoma. Survivability is on average 12-18 months depending on current health. Unfortunately this cancer is not curable. There are clinical trials but initial treatment must be completed before being accepted.

Robert will be starting treatment which consists of frequent visits to UVA for appointments, chemotherapy, and radiation. Even though insurance helps, I would like to offset their travel as well as insurance out of pocket costs to help his family during their difficult time.
