Medical Emergency BRAIN TUMOR SURGERY

Hi, my name is Erica Bogle-McFarlane. I am creating this fundraising page on behalf of Beverley Bogle who is my older sister and my best friend. Beverley traveled to Canada on January 20th, 2023 to visit and assist our older sister who was having some medical issues. While caring for her sister, she started to experience massive migraines, blurred vision and at times even loss of sight, in addition to other symptoms. She was rushed to the emergency room and was hospitalized. She went through a series of tests and was diagnosed with a brain tumor which is resting on her nerves. The doctors concluded that she needs surgery immediately. They scheduled a surgery date for the next 4 to 8 weeks but they will need all the monies upfront before the surgery can be performed. The cost of the surgery is estimated to be $30,000-$40,000 Canadian dollars.

It is very important to me because this was an unexpected medical occurrence. Beverley is only a visitor, she is without private medical health insurance. The families have paid for her bills which occurred during her stay at the hospital. Since this is such a short notice, the family is unable to come up with that amount of money in such a short time frame. For the family, this is a very tall mountain standing in our way financially and also medically for Beverley. We would like to show our support and kindness to Beverley for all the kindness she has shown to our family and others when they were in need of anything.

The funds will be used to pay for her surgery, hospital stay and rehabilitation after the surgery. It would be greatly appreciated if you can help us remove this financial mountain and allow Beverley the miracle of life to continue caring for others especially those who are in need.
