Medical Emergency for Paul Round 2

Paul and I have had our fair share of medical issues these last few years. We were just thinking how we were out of the woods and back on track. We had a nice walk on Saturday and then Sunday we went grocery shopping, went on a walk, watched a movie and we were getting ready for bed. Paul had to go to the bathroom and that’s when I heard a loud sound. He had fallen and was having cardiac arrest again. I got my neighbor and we switched off doing cpr until medics came. 5 rounds of cpr and being shocked..off to the hospital we went. He was experiencing small frequent seizures so they have him on medication and heavy sedation and cooling his body to protect the heart and brain. He squeezed my hand late last night when they were starting to get all the medications in him. I’m just so scared about the possible damage too. They are paying attention even closer because he was having small and frequent seizures so they put him on anti seizure meds which seem to be working. They plan on doing another brain wave scan later today sometime and hopefully I hear more and good news. I have submitted fmla for him and I will not be leaving his side so anything helps and I don’t have sick time or vacation time, I plan on trying to submit fmla as well.
