Medical Emergency - HELP LILA GILLHAM!
Lila Gillham has been battling COVID-19 with all of her might. Her Multiple Sclerosis medicine counteracted her COVID-19 vaccine and the MS medicine also significantly lowers her white blood cell count, making her more susceptible to contracting illnesses, and her age of 70 does not help.
Because of her MS, she is disabled. She uses a cane to walk and fatigues very quickly. She has chronic nerve pain in her left leg among many other symptoms of MS. She is unable to hold a job due to her disability so unfortunately, her financials were already stretched very thin due to the inability to have an income. This Go Fund Me is to help support Lila in her time of need with the ever-growing expenses from her COVID-19 hospital stay and Lord-willing, her after-care treatments, therapies and supplies once she is released. Let's help remove some of the stress of her medical debt so she can focus on recovering once she is released. She was transferred by a private medical airline and two ambulances from a community hospital in Fairhope, AL to a larger hospital, Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham to hopefully provide more access to more sophisticated treatments. She is currently intubated on a ventilator.
She is fighting an uphill battle. She knows the Lord and believes Jesus Chris is her Savior, but presently, her overwhelming fear and anxiety are actively working against her breathing. Her lungs are extremely damaged and stiff from the virus so she is having extreme pulmonary complications. She has been working at max capacity to take every single breath for over three weeks. She is fatiguing. She needs a miracle. Please pray for her lungs to grow stronger, become healthier and for the Lord to calm her anxiety.
Her family is overwhelmed with the love, support and prayers their communities have shown them and they thank you all from the very bottom of their hearts. They feel the love.
