Medical equipment for Christy Mitchel

Gerald White Jr. & Marlene White are seeking assistance for thier daughter Christy Mitchel, who has conquered battles with cancer not only once but twice!

In 2008 she survived the rare Synovial Sarcoma Cancer and this year she was diagnoased with Chondra Sarcoma cancer. She is returning home after her Internal Hemipelvectomy, where they removed half of her hip/pelvis that was riddled with cancer. This has been a life changing event for her and her family. She will be returning from the hospital and still has a long road ahead.

She is working towards relearning to walk with the assistance of medical equipment, which she will need for the rest of her life.and our family is seeking assistance to help make this transition from the hospital to home as comfortable and safe as possible for her. She will need a stair lift, ramps, and a wheel chair to safely return home while she continues to heal. These requirements are more than our family can afford. Since we are just now seeing what progress she has made, we are short on time and money and asking for help!

She has been so brave and worked so hard to get back home to her family and it would mean the world to us, and to her if we are able to make our home safe enough for her to live in.

Our goal is $18,000 to cover the cost of the equipment and installation of the necessities she requires. We hope you all will support us in this time of need!
