Medical equipment for Dagmawi Minilek Hospital

Hello, family members, friends, and all loved ones:

Recently I lost a 34-year-old cousin to a cardiac related problem as a result of some sort of deformity from birth.  While he was in Dagmawi Menelik II Hospital, as part of his treatment he was on oxygen therapy.  Sadly enough, I learned from my sister, the hospital does not have a Pulse Oximeter.  Which is a critical tool for people on oxygen therapy to monitor their oxygen saturation level. Apparently, she had to bring one from her house so they can check his oxygen level.  It is almost incomprehensible to say the least not to have this very inexpensive tool for a patient who is on oxygen therapy.  I also learned that they had to borrow a Blood Pressure Monitor from ICU when he had a cardiac arrest at one point.  When I heard this, not only I grieved the loss of my cousin, but for all the people who are being treated in that hospital.  That is why I decided to do something about it.  For not having a Pulse Oximeter, that costs only $9 in US which can make a difference in a life and death situation is something I cannot fathom to understand but that is the reality.  I ask each and every one of you to join me in this crusade and contribute whatever you can afford so we can save at least one life if not many more.  I will provide each and everyone of you  the receipts of whatever I buy including some sort of document from the hospital so you know where your money went.
