Catherine's Medical and Bills Fund

I think the biggest struggle in any life is one we don’t have an answer to. One of the women i hold closest to my heart has endured more in the past 15 days than i have most my life. The thing about Catherine is, she’s done it so flawlessly. She’s done it without pointing a finger, she’s done it without a ‘why me?!’ attitude, she’s done it with a smile on her face which I’m sure is just her way of wanting the rest of us not to worry. How many of us could have full access to walk one day, wake up the next to have your world flipped upside down AND STILL find a reason to smile? I’ve known this girl for years and I’ve never had to ask her for a thing, she’s always selflessly done whatever she could without question. Working within the medical field i know even with insurance and a back up plan there will be debts to pay. 10 days in neurology, multiple MRIs, spinal taps, labs, blood work, indefinite time at inpatient rehab to hopefully be able to regain the ability to use her legs again which means indefinite time away from work. I know Catherine, we all know Catherine, she won’t ask for help. So i took it upon myself to ask for her. I want to give her one less thing to worry about. So here’s to you Catherine, WE love you. WE see you. WE support you and WE can’t waitto see you overcome yet another obstacle in this wonderful life you live.
