Medical Expense Funding for Dale - Lung Cancer

Hi, it's me again, Dale De Steno's sister, Dawn, asking for your help. This may be new information for you or it may be just a refresher. My brother Dale learned in August 2021 that he has Non-Small Cell Stage 4 Lung Cancer Exon Deletion 19, which has spread to other parts of his body. He was put on a daily medication coined the "Miracle Drug," a pill called Tagrisso. This pill is taken once a day consistently and indefinitely. This medication will work for people from an average of 2 years to 5+ years. Some aren't that lucky. Dale got a good 15 months of a fairly uninterrupted life using Tagrisso. During this time he was able to take trips, spend time with his wife, Chanell, and their kids, Dane and Elly (now 14 and 11 years old), excel at his recruitment job, buy a Farrell's eXtreme Bodyshaping gym in Maple Grove, AND provide education, humor, and hope to his cancer journey blog which has consistently reached the hearts of many WORLDWIDE.

The day came too soon when the doctor told us the cancer outsmarted the Tagrisso, and it was time to find the "next best thing." It may be that the cancer has a new mutation that could be treated with something very specific for it. We are anxiously awaiting those lab results to see if he is one of those "lucky" people. In the meantime, a Lung Cancer Oncologist well known in the community at the Mayo in Rochester has him doing chemotherapy for 3 hours every 3 weeks, for up to 4 treatments. His next chemo treatment is tomorrow, 3/13/23.

With all the side effects, time needed away from work for appointments, and the overall stress of living the life of a cancer patient, Dale has gotten onto partial disability and is no longer working at his recruitment job. And blood clots in his leg are preventing him from instructing his kickboxing classes and causing mobility issues. As you can imagine, the medical bills begin to pile up while his income is less...
