Medical and Farm Expenses

Please help in any way possible. Carol and Billy own and operate Dilly Dally Organic Farm.  Billy for years has battled complications with his feet and legs often resulting in multiple surgeries and lengthy recovery times. While Billy is always anxious to return to the farm and continue to work beside Carol in their business. It was recently decided that the best course of action was for Billy to have a right below the knee amputation on July 16 2018. Billy was looking forward to moving forward with his quality of life and starting new with a prosthesis.

Unfortunately on July 15, 2018 Billy continued to have a fever, after recommendations Billy went to the ER where they diagnosed him with Osteomyelitis in his Left Foot. With a transfer to Bangor EMMC Billy was given the option of a Bi-lateral (both) Below the knee amputation. Billy knowing the years of complications he has endured with both feet, decided this was the best course of action for his future.

Now anyone that knows both Billy and Carol Hayes know they would never ask for help and muster through on their own. Unfortunately with a double amputation there are new challenges, they will need a ramp for their home, help with the farm (picking, weeding, possible tractor work), medical bills, transportation costs for rehabilitation. All these funds will be used to help the rehab process for Billy. Who is looking forward to increasing his quality of life and starting fresh on new prosthetics.
