Medical Expenses and Lost Wages for Kelly&Dylan❤️

Hi, my name is Justine and I'm putting this gofundme up for one of my best friends, Kelly and her husband Dylan. Dylan has recently been diagnosed with renal infarction. During this time Kelly is taking care of Dylan 24/7 with meds every 3 hours. She can't work and neither can he for the time being, (which at this time is an unknown length of time) resulting in thousands of dollars in lost wages. I know these two would never ask for help, so I'm asking for help on behalf of them. For those of you that know these two, you know that they are the most loving, caring and kind people you could ever meet. They would do anything for their friends, they have been there for me and other people countless times. I'm putting this together in hopes our community can come together and help these two beautiful and amazing people out.

Details on Dylan's condition:

On Friday Dylan was diagnosed with a renal infarction and admitted to the hospital. This is a rare condition where there is a blood clot in the kidney. He was immediately on a heprin drip and iv fluids. It ended up being a longer stay than originally expected.

They are now home. He has been in good spirits though the pain gets very severe pretty often. He's on lots of pain killers still and trying to adjust to a new normal at home, which has been challenging so far.

He has no genetic predisposition to this condition and it wasn't a recent accident that caused it, so to make it even more rare, about 10% of people who get this, it's just an unknown cause. He will have many follow up appointments to come, including a kidney specialist, to ensure the part of his kidney that "died" from the clot does start to regenerate and the clot dissipates.

He will be on a blood thinner for the next six months and we hope for a full recovery.
