In what can only be described as a miracle, Michael Opitz's liver condition was caught just in time. After 2 weeks in the hospital, Michael received a new liver via transplant, and is on the road to recovery. He will be unable to work for quite some time, and will be stuck at home as well. Obviously, many expenses will be incurred - meds, physical therapy, and many unforeseen expenditures. This Go Fund Me is designed to help offset those expenses going forward.
