Medical Expenses and Memorial fund for Laura Cabe

Laura Cabe was a mom, wife, teacher, friend, daughter and sister. She meant so many things to so many people and at 40 years old we lost her too soon.

 

She became very ill unexpectedly and was admitted to the ICU on November 29. She was diagnosed with Leukemia on December 13 but it was already too late. Laura passed away the next night with her loving husband Charlie by her side.

 

For those of us that knew Laura, we knew what an amazing mom she was to her two boys Owen (12) and Kellen (9). She loved being a mom and they were her whole world. It’s heart-wrenching to think of them moving through their childhood without her by their sides.

 

Laura’s compassion for others, easygoing demeanor, and sense of humor were some of the things that made her so special. This also made her an amazing paraeducator to students at North Bend Elementary. She was there for 4 years and truly meant a lot to the staff, students, and parents.

 

Anyone that got to know Laura was a better person for it, she was always quick to laugh and had a warmth about her unlike anyone else. Her friends, family, colleagues, and community of North Bend aren’t going to be the same without her. She’ll always be in our hearts and we’re certainly going to miss her here in our lives.
