Jose Orozco (dad's) medical expenses and recovery
Donation protected
My sisters and I are starting this GoFundMe page in hopes of raising money for our dear and sweet father’s hospital bills. Our dad, Jose (Pepe) Orozco, who has been a fighter battling Parkinson’s Disease for over 20 years, fell last month and had to undergo hip replacement surgery. Unfortunately, the following week when we took him to his follow-up appointment, the doctor said that he had THA dislocation, which means that there was a complete loss of articulation contact between the artificial joint components, so he once again underwent surgery. A week later, my dad had a fever and we took him back to the hospital and he was diagnosed with an infection and pulmonary edema which made it difficult for him to breathe. At date, he is still hospitalized and is being treated (it’s been two weeks since he was admitted to the hospital). We need him to have a full recovery so that we can take him back home to the U.S. where he can have full treatment. We are asking for any donation to help with his medical bills as they are increasing day by day. Total hospital bills so far have amounted to approximately $48,000.00. We, the Orozco-Becerra family thank you for any way you can contribute if that’s in the form of a prayer or a donation. We are grateful and please continue to keep Jose (Pepe) in your prayers. He is a true fighter.
