- Hi, my name is Brittany, and I am doing a fundraiser for my best friend/cousin/sister Josie Vinka, husband Wayne Vinka, and their new baby boy. Baby Vinka was due December 2nd. Josie was put in the hospital in early September to be monitored. Unfortunately, due to her blood pressure and lack of blood to the baby, an emergency c-section was performed on September 30th. Baby Vinka has been in the NICU since then in Winchester. Now, Baby Vinka is having some major health concerns that resulted in him getting transferred to INOVA Children's Hospital in Fairfax. Josie and Wayne have been by his side the entire time. Resulting in Wayne missing a lot of time at work and Josie quitting her job to be by her son's side. I am setting this up because I know if the roles were reversed, Wayne and Josie would be right there for me or for anyone. They are always willing to help anyone in need and now it's our turn to return the favor. With Baby Vinka being in Fairfax now, gas and medical bills are starting to pile up and this is something no new parent should have to worry about. Anything to help would be such a blessing for this young couple and their baby boy. I understand times are hard so if you can't afford anything, prayers and positive thoughts for the couple and their baby is greatly appreciated.
