Medical Expenses for Beloved Teacher Mme Londono
Donation protected
Our beloved friend, colleague, and French teacher, Michele Londono, suffered a brain aneurysm on Sunday, September 26, while in Sarasota, Florida, enjoying the long weekend. She has been hospitalized since and has endured several brain surgeries and procedures. It is uncertain just how long she will remain hospitalized, after which she will enter a long-term rehabilitation facility. Her recovery will be a long road.
Michele became a grandmother for the first time recently and had not even met her grandson before this happened. As many of you know, Michele is an animal lover. She owns a farm in Homestead, where she has horses, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and many other animals.
As you can imagine, Michele’s life has changed dramatically. Michele and her family face heaps of medical bills. Because she is being treated on the other side of the state, her family faces the additional financial strain of traveling there regularly. Not to mention the expense of caring for her animals and farm. So many in our Gulliver community have asked what they can do to help Michele, and right now, the only thing we can do is come together to help her financially. She would be the first to help a colleague or friend in this situation. She is truly a wonderful person.
Your generosity is greatly appreciated. While we appreciate your words, we kindly ask you to use this page as the source of support at this time, and if there are any updates the family wishes to share, we will share them here.
Thank you for keeping the Londono family in your thoughts and prayers.
