Medical expenses for Chloe McLamb

Sweet Chloe is battling osteosarcoma again, please join me in praying for her and donating if you're able. I created this page for her family to raise money to help cover medical and travel expenses as they will be making lots of trips to Duke over the next few months for treatments and appointments. See below for a little bit of Chloe's story and updates from her mom...

In May 2019, when Chloe was 8 years old, she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer, in her leg. She went through chemo and had to have the lower part of her leg amputated. She was in remission until June 2022 when the cancer returned to the same leg and she had to have another surgery, this time an amputation at the hip. In November 2022, during routine scans, it was discovered that there were concerning nodules on Chloe's lungs. Today (11/29/22) Chloe had a right thoracotomy where surgeons discovered 16 nodules in her right lung, the nodules were removed and sent to pathology. The doctors strongly believe that the osteosarcoma has metastasized to Chloe's lungs and a port was placed during surgery today for her to begin immunotherapy treatments. Chloe is so strong and has overcome so much in her life already! Please continue to pray for healing and strength for her as the doctors and her family navigate their next steps to heal her of cancer!

UPDATE as of 5:45pm:

Chloe has been moved to her room, and she is resting peacefully. Her pain is being managed well, so it's been between staying between a 2 and 4.

UPDATE as of 1:40pm:

The surgeon came out a few minutes ago and said they froze one of the nodules and sent if off for pathology testing. They believe it is metastatic osteosarcoma. There were 16 nodules total in her right lung. Only five showed up in the right lung on the CT. They are installing a port now for her immunotherapy treatment.

We arrived at the hospital around 6:30am. Chloe was taken from pre-op into surgery as of 7:30am. ❤️

They estimate her surgery should take approximately 4-5 hours.
