Medical Expenses for Dena Farris

Hello everyone! Typically if I am raising funds it is for a Mission project or something to do with Ministry, but today my family is in need. Last Sunday my sister, Dena Farris passed out in her kitchen and hit her face on her counter. My brother-in-law, Chuck had to call paramedics because she could not feel or move her hands or feet. She has been in the hospital since Sunday night and they are having a hard time getting her pain managed because it is mostly nerve pain. She also lost half of her front tooth and had to have four sutures on her chin. It took them until early Tuesday morning to get her a room in ICU so they stayed in the emergency room for a pretty long time. She has limited use of her hands and cannot walk on her own because she has been diagnosed with a cervical cord injury that has caused enormous swelling against her spine, which has led to a lot of issues. Once the swelling around her spine goes down she will need to go through physical therapy. All of this adds up quickly and she has no health insurance and she is self-employed. She has tried several different insurance companies to get coverage, but none of them will cover her due to pre-existing medical issues (that is part of her story that I will leave to her to share).

I have never known a more loving and caring couple than my sister and brother-in-law. They both went above and beyond to help others financially and in any other way, they could. Now they are in need and I graciously ask you to assist them in their desperation. We know that The Lord will heal her completely and will make a way financially! The Lord is taking care of the healing, but He uses kind-hearted people like you and me to help with the financial need! My family and I appreciate any support you can give.
