Medical expenses for Doug Mixen recovery

Hi. I am doing this go fund me for my brother Doug Mixen. He has been going back-and-forth to the doctor since April 2023 with a diabetic ulcer on his foot. Trying to keep his food truck going and it is now come to the impossible that he can’t do that

Last Friday he had a needed surgery on that foot. He got home but never made it in the house. He had an arterial bleed in the foot. he was losing blood at a rapid rate. his wife Jeanne had her head thinking and tied a tourniquet and a band around his leg to slow the bleeding down. After an ambulance ride to Union County, the doctor was unable to get the bleeding stopped, and he needed a higher level of care. Helicopters were not flying that night and the ambulance was not available so we took him by car. in the early morning hours he had another surgery and the surgeon got the bleeding stopped. After two days in the hospital, him and his wife, Jeanne are at Mom’s due to her house being handicap accessible. He has a long road ahead of him with healing and now weeks of a PICC line and antibiotics. Jeanne, his wife has been off work and not able to open her shop due to taking care of Doug. Anything you can contribute would be so appreciative., for medical expenses, and driving back-and-forth to the doctor.
