Medical expenses for Emma Grace Hamrick

Hi, my name is Shelby Flint! I have put this GoFundMe together for my good friend Jaycee Hamrick and her sweet family. Little Miss Emma Grace was born Tuesday December 26, 2023. Emma Grace weighed 7lb 11oz and was 20in long. Mom and baby had a difficult and long labor, but her parents were over the moon when she finally made her debut.

After delivery, Emma began experiencing some health concerns and was placed in the NICU at Hendricks. It was found that Emma had suffered a stroke as well as some seizures. Hendricks then recommended Emma to be transferred to Cooks NICU in Fort Worth. She was transported, by ambulance, to Cooks NICU on Friday December 29, 2023. There she is receiving continuous care and monitoring as Cooks incredible team of doctors and nurses work to find the cause of Emma’s seizures and stroke. Unfortunately Emma and her parents are still there and unsure when they will be able to come home. This has undoubtedly caused a financial stress for new parents, Sam and Jaycee. But they are unfortunately having to miss work while they are staying with their sweet Emma. They are already the most loving and caring parents but as we all know…bills do not care about these unexpected events. So I have set up this GoFundMe to try to relieve at least a small amount of stress on this wonderful family as they continue to care for their sweet baby girl.
