Medical Expenses for Erik Waters

On 2/8/22, Erik (13) and Ian (17) were involved in a car accident on 17 and TC Walker at around 530 PM. Ian sustained minor physical injuries while Erik was taken to Riverside Regional in Newport News and was then medevaced to CHKD in Norfolk. Erik is currently in ICU but stable. He has a fractured skull down to his C-Spine, broken ribs, a lacerated liver, a right lung contusion a small brain bleed that is being closely monitored. He has been intubated and sedated since this happened but is fighting hard -- the doctors continue to say how lucky he is. We are told he is being feisty and fighting to get better!

Jill and James have been by his side since this happened. We are starting this Go Fund Me for any travel and medical expenses that will occur from this. The doctors have estimated at least 3 months of healing is up ahead. If you cannot donate monetarily, that is OK! Please share this and PRAY. We are asking for any and all prayers for Erik, Ian and the family in these coming months. Will update as we know more.
