Medical Expenses for Farmingdale HS Students

Hello, my name is Carrie ChervenyRubino. My Daughter-In-Laws nieces were on the Farmingdale HS bus that crashed. Both of the Betts girls, Natalie, a senior, and Ashley, a freshman were both involved in the crash. Ashley is one of the few students who are still in critical condition after suffering multiple severe fractures and injuries requiring intensive care. Her physical injuries as well as her emotional and mental stresses will be challenging as Ashley has a long recovery ahead of her. Natalie has a concussion as well as many bruises and a bad cut on her forehead. She is also suffering from severe PTSD from this accident and will require therapy to fully heal. Natalie found Ashley and saved her sisters life, she is a true hero! Luckily, Natalie has been discharged but will still require follow up care. As of now, Ashley has been moved to Cohan Children’s Hospital to continue her long road to recovery.

As we continue to keep all the students, teachers and their loved ones in our prayers, we also understand the expenses that will follow in surgeries, medical treatments, therapy etc. This gofundme is created in an effort to help the Betts family with medical costs during this challenging time. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Betts family.
