Medical Expenses for Johnny Tackett

On February 6th our lives changed forever. My precious husband suffered a sudden and severe, very unexpected, mental health emergency. With the exception of 3 days, he has been hospitalized since that day. Each day at the hospital costs $1800, not including provider and diagnostic fees. Thankfully our insurance covers 50%, however, that still leaves us with an overwhelming amount of medical debt. He is currently still in an acute facility with no estimated date for discharge. Upon discharge, he will still require a lot of care that comes with a high financial burden.

I am doing my best to maintain as much normalcy as possible for our children, but adding rising medical costs to our regular financial obligations on top of now needing extra childcare is making it impossible.

I would never ask for help like this if I had other options.

If you cannot help financially, I completely understand. Please simply pray for us and we fight our way through this valley.

Mental illness is no different than physical illness and should be treated as such. Unfortunately, it is not always viewed that way. If we cannot keep up with the costs, we may not be able to receive the resources he needs.
