Medical Expenses for Jon Hogle
On July 7 2024 Jon was in a motorcycle accident while on a trip with a couple of lifelong friends. He was traveling on the road and a car pulled out right in front of him and he did everything he could to avoid it but sadly was not able to. He was flown to Dartmouth Hitchcock hospital where he remains in ICU.
As many know, Jon was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma around 15 years ago. He was given a 2-3 year life expectancy at the time and never stopped fighting. Earlier this month he recieved great news from his doctors at Dana Farber- they told him he could live to see many more years. For this to happen so soon after hearing that just makes this accident all the more devastating to his family and friends.
Jon is so loved by everyone that knows him. After 30 years of teaching high school math, he was preparing to retire this fall. He is selfless, generous, incredibly funny, and has made a huge impact on all the paths that he has crossed, especially his students. Everyone that knows him also knows that he would do anything for anyone.
There is an incredibly hard road ahead of Jon and his family. Yet another battle has begun and he is now fighting for his life. Any funds from this fundraiser will go directly to his daughter, Malia, and will be used for medical expenses and any travel related expenses that may come up. The hospital is in New Hampshire so this will help cover the cost of hotels, food, gas, etc.
